ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring a Child Caregiver – Private Home for a permanent position starting January 15, 2026, in Bradford, ON. You will be responsible for supervising and caring for children while supporting daily household routines in the employer’s home.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your daily responsibilities may include:

  • Supervising and caring for infants and children
  • Bathing, dressing, and feeding children
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals
  • Organizing games, outings, and indoor activities
  • Assisting children with homework
  • Teaching personal hygiene and social development
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy home environment
  • Keeping records of daily activities and children’s health
  • Taking children to and from school and appointments
  • Supporting children’s emotional well-being
  • Performing light housekeeping duties
  • Washing, ironing, and pressing clothing and linens
  • Shopping for food and household supplies
  • Traveling with the family when required

EXPERIENCE & SPECIALIZATION

In order to qualify, make sure you fulfil the following requirements:

Requirements

  • Ability to work on-site at the employer’s home
  • Experience caring for children (multi-aged groups)
  • English language proficiency (IELTS preferred)
  • Willingness to relocate if required
  • Valid driver’s license (preferred)
  • Ability to handle physical tasks (up to 23 kg / 50 lbs)
  • Availability for flexible schedules and overtime
