Key Responsibilities

• Perform various welding operations including MIG, TIG, and arc/stick welding
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Prepare metal materials by cutting, grinding, and fitting components
• Inspect welded joints and finished work to ensure quality and compliance
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and use PPE at all times
• Work closely with other tradespeople and project managers
• Carry out routine maintenance of welding tools and equipment

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a Welder in construction or manufacturing
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of welding safety standards and procedures
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Waikato
