Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers and Senior Engineers with routine civil engineering assignments
- Perform civil design calculations, sketches, technical evaluations, and comparisons
- Prepare engineering plans and drawings using CADD/Civil 3D software
- Assist in preparing and monitoring quality control of plans, specifications, reports, and permit applications
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations and engineering codes
- Participate in project kick-off and design review meetings
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients
- Maintain professional and positive working relationships throughout project lifecycles
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field
- Ability to obtain Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
- Willingness to work full-time in an in-person office environment
- Strong academic foundation in civil engineering principles
Skills
- Basic civil engineering design and analytical skills
- Familiarity with CADD / Civil 3D software (preferred)
- Understanding of site layout, grading, and stormwater management principles
- Technical writing and documentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
